Rookie Award

Introduced in 2003 to recognise the efforts of new players into the ADFVA competition. This competition represents a significant step up from the state based Interservice Competitions. This award recognises the skill, endeavour, teamwork and attitude of the new and developing players. The award is presented to the best male and female, first year player.

To be eligible, players must be competing for the first time at the ADFVA National Titles. The selection for this award is decided by the national team selection committee.
